House History:
The Longboat was used by Vikings in the northern seas. They were very sturdy and
fast ships that helped the Vikings navigate the open seas. These ships were
adaptable to their environment. Vikings could use them in the seas and also the
rivers. Even though they were sturdy ships, they were also light enough to be
carried over land. Like the longboats, we will be adaptable people and persevere
through whatever life will throw at us.
