Community Middle School Theatre would like to invite you to our fall production of two one-act plays by Lindsay Price. Both plays make use of extended metaphor to examine the human experience.

 

Box is a vignette play that explores the different boxes we find ourselves in. We all have a box. It may be a box of our own choosing or a box defined by someone else. How do we deal with the box we find ourselves in because of background? Peer pressure? Parent pressure? Society? Our own mistakes or successes?

 

Emotional Baggage is a play without words. There is no dialogue, and the play is advanced only through movement and physical expression. Everyone carries some sort of emotional baggage with them. At some point we must decide how we will deal with it.
