In the photos with this post, you can see #HMS students on recent Gear Up field trips, one to Motlow State Community College and the other to the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. These trips, along with other that have taken place over the school year, have been taken to help students see the many options available to them when the graduate from high school in an effort to help them make informed decisions about what they might want to do and where they might like to learn more about the career path they will select.
Thank you to our wonderful Gear Up staff and our CTE teachers for taking out students on these trips and for helping our students plan how they can #SoarAboveTheRest.
Recently, our #HarrisMiddleSchool January Teachers of the Month passed along their float awards to teachers they wanted to recognize for being #FLOATSTANDING at #HMS.
Mr. McConnell floated the "You're Turtley Crushing It" Award to Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Trice floated the "You're Clawsome" Award to Mrs. Rose, and
Mrs. Norris floated the "Keep Being Alligreat" Award, to Mr. Wislon.
