This, we gathered at the Bell Buckle Banquet Hall for a special evening honoring the incredible individuals retiring from #BedfordCountySchools. (Not all retirees are pictured.) 🌟
These dedicated employees have spent years shaping lives, supporting #students and strengthening our schools in countless ways. From the classroom to transportation, cafeterias to custodial services and every role in between, each retiree has played an important part in making our district a place where students can learn, grow and succeed. 💖

Recently, students from #CommunityHighSchool’s Medical Therapeutics class, led by instructor Kaycee Martin, hosted a Stuffie Clinic for Pre-K students at #CommunityElementarySchool. High school #students performed checkups on stuffed animals brought in by the younger students, including vital signs, height and weight measurements and quick assessments. 🩹❤️🧸
Pre-K students also learned about healthy eating habits and proper mouth care in a fun and engaging environment. 🍎🥦🦷
This hands on activity allowed Medical Therapeutics students to demonstrate the skills they have learned throughout the year, including communication with pediatric patients. Most importantly, both groups of students shared a fun and memorable experience together.💜💛
We love seeing our students learn, lead and make meaningful connections across our schools! ✨
