Recently, students at #CascadeHighSchool in Mr. Calvert and Mr. Simmons’ #WorldHistory classes turned back the clock to the 19th century with a Berlin Conference Simulation. ⏳📖
Stepping into the roles of world leaders 👑🌍, #students debated 🗣️, bargained 🤝 and mapped out land claims in Africa 🗺️. The classroom buzzed with diplomacy, strategy and spirited discussion ⚖️✍️ as history unfolded before their eyes.
This hands-on experience gave students more than just knowledge of the past 📚 — it brought them face-to-face with the lasting impact of imperialism 🌐 and the complexities of global decision-making 🧩. A powerful reminder that history isn’t just in books — it’s alive, complex and still shaping our world today.

Recently, #CascadeHighSchool #FCCLA members rolled up their sleeves to make a difference! 💪❤️ Together with the nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, they spent Saturday morning building beds for local children who don’t have one of their own.
These beds mean more than just a good night’s sleep—they bring comfort, security and dignity to kids right here in our community. 🛏️💤
As Sleep in Heavenly peace reminds us: “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!” And thanks to the hard work of our amazing #students, more children will now have a safe place to rest their heads. 🌟
We are so proud of these FCCLA members for living out the values of service, leadership and compassion. What an incredible way to give back!💕🫶

Last night’s game at #CascadeHighSchool was made even more special with First Responders Night!
The Vanderbilt Life Flight team wowed the crowd with a dramatic entrance, flying in by helicopter to deliver the game ball. 🚁
The evening also honored the brave men and women — local heroes, who serve and protect the community every day. Their dedication, courage and sacrifice inspire us all and remind us what true heroism looks like.❤️
We want to send a heartfelt #ThankYou to all who make a difference on and off the field!🫶🧡🖤

Yesterday, #CascadeHighSchool’s #FFA hosted a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the lives lost and the first responders who showed extraordinary courage on September 11, 2001. The event highlighted service, community and resilience—values that continue to define our nation.
Through remembrance, we honor the past and carry forward the legacy of bravery and compassion. As we reflect together, we are reminded of the strength found in unity and the importance of supporting one another every day.
