Students at #CommunityMiddleSchool's Summer Learning Camp created posters highlighting their favorite Americans, learning about individuals who have made an impact through history, #leadership and inspiration.
Students worked hard planning, designing and completing their posters, then proudly posed with their finished work to share what they learned. 📚🎨
The day also included some extra fun as staff joined in by dressing up as inspiring figures, including Amanda Lemmons as Rosie the Riveter, Keisha Banks as herself (an Inspiring Math Teacher), Jeannie Keating as herself (an Inspiring Math Teacher) and Julie Toombs as Tennessee Volunteer Heath Schuler. 👏✨
Through experiences like this, #students are encouraged to explore ideas, express creativity and connect learning across subjects. These opportunities reflect how public schools provide meaningful, engaging experiences that help students grow as learners and thinkers. 🌟
