During my twenty-plus years in education, I have taught several different grade levels including,1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th. Since 2012, I have considered Community Middle my home teaching 8th Grade Science. I have been blessed to be a part of this great community and I am thankful for the opportunity to teach at such a wonderful school. 

                             

In 1997 I married Chad Whitaker, a 1991 graduate of Community High School. In 2000 we had our son, Dillon Whitaker, and 2004 our daughter Breanna Whitaker. We live on a farm with twenty-plus cows and four dogs. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, going outside, and traveling, especially to the beach.
